Dynamos got a big boost ahead of the new season when they received two playing kits from Betta Ball Sports yesterday as part of the consignment pledged by the company at the club's fund-raising dinner last month.
Dynamos vice-chairman, Webster Chikengezha, said these will be the official kits to be used by the team in their home and away games this year.
DeMbare are also set to get more equipment, which includes training balls, bibs, bags and the replica jerseys to be sold to the supporters as part of their marketing venture ahead of the Golden Jubilee celebrations next year.
"It's with great pleasure that we receive this donation at this time of our need. "We are happy with this partnership with Betta Ball Sports and I am sure this will go a long way in professionalising our team Dynamos.
"We also want to take the opportunity to appeal to more sponsors out there to come and partner the team," said Chikengezha.
Dynamos have already received 600 replica jerseys from the sports equipment supplier and are hoping to get more.
Chikengezha said they were worried about the threat of counterfeit material flooding the market and said they will put measures in place to guard against that.
"It's true that people will produce fake things but steps will be taken to ensure that the right material gets to our supporters.
"We are going to licence people who will be distributing the equipment and together with Betta Ball Sports, who are currently the official suppliers, we will find other partners.
"We want to get total control of the market for our products and we will ensure that we have the stock by ordering more when the jerseys run out," said Chikengezha.
Betta Ball Sports representative, Andrew Muzanenhamo, said they were excited to partner Dynamos in their run up to the 50th anniversary celebrations.
DeMbare will celebrate their Golden Jubilee next year and they have already started the countdown. Muzanenhamo said they were hoping to build lasting ties with the Premiership champions."Dynamos is a big club and we are happy to enter a smart partnership with them.
"This relationship will be long term and we hope they will benefit from it as well."Today we are giving them two playing kits for home and away and the other consignment will follow later and this will include bags and a full complement of goods to market Dynamos as they celebrate their 50th anniversary.
"We are also presenting festival hats to give a Brazilian flair when celebrating and we hope they will continue winning games with the kits," said Muzanenhamo.
