Glamour Boys date Buffaloes

HARARE giants Dynamos take their preparations to Mutare when they engage newly-promoted Premiership outfit Buffaloes in a pre-season friendly match at Sakubva tomorrow. Buffaloes coach Saul Chaminuka is optimistic that the Zimbabwe football kings will give his new charges the proper challenge ahead of the new season.

DeMbare have been training for over six weeks and the coach Callisto Pasuwa is still trying out different combinations.

The reigning league champions, however, have been blighted by injuries to more than half of their senior team players.

Last Sunday, Dynamos lost 1-0 to Motor Action in a Bob ‘88 Super Cup at Rufaro as veteran Murape Murape, Rodreck Mutuma, Martin Vengesayi, Wonder Sithole and the Zambia duo of Arthur Kaseloki and Dereck Kabwe were nursing injuries.

However, Tichaona Mabvura and Partson Jaure have been impressive in the pre-season games so far while skipper George Magariro is now playing regularly.
